Within one of my sites I have a subweb contained within a folder. It is used by a relative for their web pages and I’ve just left it stand along in the sub-folder. The relative would like to update the look and is happy to use the same look as my theme but obviously I’d need a different logo, navbar and widgets.

Can I achieve this using the Template options? I’m thinking the Template option will let me do it but then how do i get it to allow the same URL’s currently being used. Also not sure where to start in creating a new template.

If the subsite is contained in a subfolder and points to a separate database, you have to think to it as a completely different website from yours.
You can change logo and widget in the theme administration page.

It is not using a separate database as it’s just static HTML pages, not a WordPress site.

I’d like it to use the same wordpress theme that the rest of my site is using but have a different header area (e.g. different logo) and different menu. Is this possible if i create a template for just those pages and specify a different logo and menu??

Anyone able to help with this.

I have a business website at https://www.example.com which has about a 20 pages using WordPress, it also hosts a separate business website at https://www.example.com/anothersite with a different design, business name, and logo etc.

The Root site (www.example.com) is running WordPress whilst the subsite (www.example.com/anothersite) is running about 6 static HTML only pages. I want https://www.example.com/anothersite to use the WordPress functionality of the root site and theme but use a different logo in the header and different navigation bar so they look like two separate sites with the exception of the theme.

    Is this possible??
