    Dear Support,

    I am facing issue with my new subscriptions going to on-hold status whereas the order is getting placed properly and order status is showing completed in PayPal account(merchant)

    I have enabled setting Subscription capture behavior if Vault fails-> Capture authorized payment & disregard missing payment in the Woocommerce PayPal Payments plugin.

    Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.

    The payment process when a subscription is being purchased is that the payment will first be authorized, then the PayPal server will try to vault/save the payment method and when that succeeds, the plugin will capture the initial payment.

    So having said this, I think there are 2 possibilities:
    1) You reviewed the payment before it was captured. Possibly the payment will now be captured. There should be about 3 minutes between the authorized and captured status change.
    2) The webhook for the captured is not being received. You might want to resubscribe the webhooks in the plugin settings in the bottom of the “Connection” tab.
