Hello Mark, and thank you for your great work adding subscriptions to WooCommerce.

I installed your plugin yesterday, so bear with me, if the following topics have been mentioned before.

One topic is regarding Subscription length.

If you choose a subscription length for e.g. six months, you would expect to see and pay for the total amount for a six months subscription at Checkout. But subscribers are only charged for the first month at a time. in that way, subscribers are not committed to pay for the six months period, they have signed up for, but can choose to cancel the subscription after a month by not paying the renewal fee?

The second issue is in the shop, where users can choose quantity, and by that signing up for multiple subscriptions of the same product, which should not be possible.

    Thanks

    Regards
    Carsten

    Hi Carsten,

There is no onetime payment possible. Subscription billing will be happened on specified recurring interval only. multiple subscriptions of the same product can be resricted by enabling “Sold individually”

The subscription can automatically be expired by defining the period i.g. 1 month in the Subscription length dropdown, but the payment is not?

Is this recurring payment interval controlled by QuickPay or the plugin?

Hi Mark, I am still waiting for an answer to this, to me, important question:

The subscription can automatically be expired by defining the period i.g. 1 month in the Subscription length dropdown, but the payment can not?

    How does this relate?

What is this option worth if the payments continues for the customers?

    Hi @carsten-lund

Once this limit reaches, the subscription will expire from Payment Option as well as the plugin will be triggering a subscription cancellation request to the payment gateway. ( This workflow (cancel) is not tested OK with PayPal )

As I read this, the plugin will cancel the payment?

Yes, the plugin will not make payment request anymore.

Thanks, so this earlier statement is not valid anymore?

    Hi @carsten-lund

Once the subscription is cancelled, then the plugin will not make payment request anymore.
