    Hi,
When I initially setup Jetpack we were using the server domain name (35052dd937.nxcli.netlink), this was before we went live. After we went live with the real domain name (voegelinview.com), Jetpack subscription was still working. It has continued to work until a couple days ago when Jetpack became unconnected from the live website. This morning I reconnected the website to Jetpack and used the same WordPress login as I initially did. But now all of our stat and subscribers have disappeared. Previously, if I tried to Subscribe with the same email I already subscribed with, I would get a message that that email was already subscribed. But today I got a message that I would need to confirm my email address.

When I login to WordPress/Jetpack (subscribe.wordpress.com) with the email I had previously subscribed with (same one I used today), I now have 2 VoegelinView Subscriptions. If I hover over the link for the old one it has https://href.li/?https://35052dd937.nxcli.net and the other one has https://href.li/?https://voegelinview.com.

Is there any way to change the first one to use voegelinview.com instead of the 35052dd937.nxcli.netlink so we don’t loss all of our stats and subscribers?

    Thank you.

    Hi there, @ljkeashly,

Thanks for the thorough explanation ??

With Jetpack, your stats information is connected to a unique blog ID. Sometimes, if a site owner was using a development site or a different address when they set up Jetpack, disconnecting may create a new blog ID. When this happens, it may appear that your stats were lost.

That’s what happened on your site; it previously used a different site URL, 35052dd937.nxcli.net.

I have fixed the issue, and you should be able to get your Stats and Subscribers back by going to the Jetpack menu in your dashboard, and disconnecting/reconnecting to WordPress.com. You can disconnect from WordPress.com thanks to the link at the bottom of the page.

For future references, you may want to check our Safe Mode and Staging Sites modules, as they will help to avoid such issues the next time you might be encountering it ??

Please let me know if you have any further questions or doubts, and we’re happy to assist you ??

    Hi,
When I went in to voegelinview.com, Jetpack was already disconnected, so I connected it again. But when I look at the Email Subscribers it says that I don’t have any.

I also keep getting a message that Jetpack isn’t up to date, but when I go to the WordPress plugins it doesn’t show a Jetpack update. We are running 10.4.

    Thank you for your help!

    Hi @ljkeashly

I have moved your subscribers. Please delete and reinstall Jetpack on your site for this change to reflect. You can follow these steps to do that:

    1. Start at **Plugins** → **Installed Plugins**.
    2. If Jetpack is currently active, click **Deactivate** to disable it. Then click **Delete** to remove it from your site:
    3. Go to **Plugins**? → **Add New**.
    4. Search for “Jetpack by WordPress.com”.
    5. Click **Install** and then **Activate**.

When Jetpack is installed, click the green **Set up Jetpack** button to reconnect.

This handy guide explains that process in more detail:

    https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/#reinstalling-jetpack

You shouldn’t lose any settings or any of your stats or subscribers in doing so, as that info is stored in our system here.

    Thank you so much.

Everything seems to be back like it was.

I will check out the Safe Mode and Staging modules.

    Thanks again!!!
