Subscription-based notifications

    I want to configure a “New Post” notification that goes out whenever a post is published. I’d like the recipient list to be based on the post categories – where users who have previously subscribed to any of the post’s categories are sent a notification.

    It doesn’t seem like the Conditional Notifications Add-on will help, but I wanted to see if there was anything else that can accomplish this before I go down the road of rolling my own subscription / mail routing feature.

    Hi @mslade,
    Thanks for your message.

    BNFW + Conditional Notifications add-on will do what you want but users won’t be able to opt-in/out of subscriptions as BNFW currently doesn’t have this functionality.
