    Hello,

    I’m setting up a website where people may read online digital magazines once they have purchased a subscription plan.

    Each magazine is a post, and a custom field handles a hidden link to online magazine. If the user has payd and is logged in, the link will display.

    Could someone please provide some guidance on how to achieve this ?

    thanks;

  • Hello @sanstenarios,

    Unfortunately, this is not possible with PMS. The way our product works is rather giving access to restricted pages/ post, not fields.

    For example, you can content restrict the magazine itself, not the a field that contains the link to it.

    It might be possible to achieve what you want, but it’s a complex customization and it requires a developer.

    Best regards,

    Hello @dariusraia,

    schema was not clear enough in my mind when i’ve been asking. In fact i just need to attribute a specific role to the customer when payment is made. When this role is detected (customer logged in) , display the custom field, otherwise display subscribe options.

    Works fine ;

    Thanks for your feedback.

    Hello @sanstenarios,

    Each subscription comes with its own role for the user (we do not recommend modifying that role). Once the payment is completed, the user receives the role. Based on these types of roles we do our content restriction.

    Once the user cancels/ abandons the subscription, the role will be removed, so the privileges that came with the membership.

    Kind regards,
