    Hi,
    I added a subscribe form on the footer, but what does it do after a user subscribes with their email? Do they get any confirmation and do I send mass emails to them?

    If you’ve connected a Constant Contact account to your WordPress install and associated a list to the form in question, they should be getting added to that list upon submitting the form. If you’ve set up email confirmations within Constant Contact itself, those should be getting sent to the people signing up. Afterwards, it’s up to you to start sending out newsletter entries to the people who have signed up thus far.

    Ok thanks. I only just installed the plugin on WordPress. If I make an account and connect it, is that the only way to send newsletters and view subscriber list? Is it free?

    Yes, while the plugin doesn’t need the account to be installed, activated, and act as a basic contact form, you need the Constant Contact account created to make use of the newsletters and subscriber features. There is a trial period, but it’s not permanently free.
