    Hello

I use PM Pro to sell a subscription to my forum. I have tested it several times, it has always worked well. However, when my customers pay the subscription, I receive the money by Paypal, PM Pro records the order but does not give my customers access to the forum. If someone can help me, I don’t understand what is going on.

    Thanks

    Franck

    Hi Franck,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re facing these issues. We will need more information about your users to be able to assist you and advise you further.

    • What PayPal payment gateway are you using, PayPal Express or a different version?
    • What order status do these user’s receive?
    • Are the user’s created inside WordPress or do their member orders show [none] as the user?

I’m using Paypal express. Paypal has received the money from the customers.

Users receive the status of forum participant.

Users appear as having an account on wordpress. But it does not appear in PM Pro as a member, yet PM Pro has registered the order, but it does not give the status of forum participant.

I had tested it by subscribing to my own forum with another email address, and it worked perfectly. I don’t understand.

This means that something is interfering after creating the WordPress user and before assigning the membership level during checkout.

Was anything recently added to your site before you noticed this issue occurring like a new plugin or changed the confirmation page/redirect away?

Any information like this may be helpful in determining what is going on to your site as it seems to be specific to your site as I haven’t been able to replicate this yet.

I changed only one thing, that is that I add manually the role of the registrants on the forum (participant or moderator). Each subscriber has 3 status :

    1) subscribed to the wordpress account (automatic at registration)
    2) role on the forum (added manually)
    3) paid level to access the forum (managed automatically by PM Pro)

I then reassigned the roles on the forum automatically. This does not change anything.

The first two points work. The registered users receive automatically a subscription to wordpress and a role on the forum.

But they do not automatically receive the level to access the private forum.
In the “order” menu of PM Pro, the subscribers are well indicated as having paid the subscription, and I receive these payments on my paypal account, but they are not listed in the “members” menu of PM Pro and do not receive the automatic email of confirmation of membership by PM Pro.

I retested them yesterday by subscribing to the forum myself with another email address, and it works perfectly.

    I don’t understand what’s going on.

If it helps, I saw that the only thing that differs between my test subscription that works and the subscription of my customers that does not work is that in the list of orders in the menu of PM Pro, my customers have all “User ID = 0” and their email does not appear in the list, while I have my email in the list and I have “User ID = 3”.

However, in this same list, it is clearly written that they paid the subscription with Paypal express.

When the user’s ID is 0, this means that they were not created please can you work through this troubleshooting guide – https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/troubleshooting-guide-users-not-created-at-checkout/

Please let me know if this helps.

    Thank you

I used bbpress private group and bbpress style pack. I configured them incorrectly.
