    Hello!

It’s been about a year now since I reported this problem once before – it still doesn’t work:

When a subscriber, who is not a WordPress user, so he cannot log in to WordPress either, accesses his subscription management via a received newsletter using the link stored there, this WordPress-message appears after clicking on “Save”:

You must log in to access the back end.
    (URL: https://[…mydomain…%5D/wp-admin/admin-post.php)

So far I have been able to solve this problem “by hand”, but my subscriber count is increasing, so I can’t do it this way for much longer.

I’m working in a sandbox installation. If you give me an e-mail-address, I can add it to the subscribers, send a newsletter so you can see it yourself… or I send you the URL of the page for subscription management of my test-subscriber… (I don’t know if there are any security-problems, if I post the link here…) sure I can also open the subscription form for you…

Thank you very much for your support!

    Hi @nikelaos

This apparently sounds like a plugin changing your WordPress default features.

Usually, security plugins do this. Do you use something like WordFence?

Use this guide to test for plugin conflicts: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/204-how-to-test-for-plugins-conflict

You can also try temporarily deactivating the other plugin, then test your manage subscription page to see if it works.

Let me know how it goes!

Hello @johnlud and thank you for answering!

I use your plugin in a multisite-installation, so it takes it’s time but now I found the plugin, which causes the problem: “Rename wp-login.php” by Ella van Durpe, Version 2.6.0.

So, I looked for another and found “WPS Hide Login”, Version 1.9.2, by WPServeur, NicolasKulka, wpformation. With that (which is very similar to that of Ella van Durpe…) it works now.

So, thanks for your support and I’m happy, that there’s now no need to change my newsletter-plugin! (Although… the ways to build and use forms could be a bit nicer and more customizable… ;-))
