(Subscribers) Register Link with no dashboard

  • After much searching on these forums i finally came across a problem that i cannot resolve.What i want to do is have a single register text link on the very top of my page next to home,copyright info, about etc. that will send the users directly to my register screen. I just can’t find the way to turn that text into the register url link.
    One more thing how can i take off the dashboard widget after the log in?

  • This plugin can add a tab “login” if desired and it takes you to a page with your current theme – once signed in you can have it redirect visitors to anywhere you like

    That plug in is nice but not quite what im looking for since i already have the register page set up and customized to my liking the only thing i want to do is take off the dashboard link on the bottom of the widget the users get once they finish registering and enter the blog looks like this

    dashboard
    profile
    logout

    I just want to get rid of that dashboard link im using the sidebar login plug in by Mike Jolley

    Actually that plug in works perfectly for what i need it for just one small thing my widget looks like

    dashboard
    profile
    logout

    and every time you click either dashboard or profile it takes you to the profile build into the site need to find the way to get rid of that dashboard should i download a diff register plug in or is there a way to just get rid of the dashboard

    Also why is it that i can log in as the administrator from the same login as the subscribers? Should i not have my very own url.does not seem to safe
