    Hi,

How are you? I installed your plugin a few days ago and I have been testing it out by signing up and I know I also had a couple subscribers to my blog that signed up using your plugin form; however, when I published a post, the subscribers are not getting an email notification that there’s a new post.

Did I not installed the plugin correctly. I am using the free version.

Thanks so much for your time.

  • Hey @facetocurls – Thanks for contacting us and I apologize for the delay in getting back to your support request.

As you’re looking to notify visitors about new blog posts, WPBeginner has a tutorial that you can take a look at. When you have some time, can you please follow the steps shared in the tutorial and let me know if that works for you?

    Kindly,

    Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me. This didn’t help and it seems pretty completed as well. I installed the WP Form Plugin. I thought that once I set up the subscribe form on my blog, then once I post an article, then those subscribers would automatically receive an email advising them of a new blog post. I am not looking to create any sort of campaign or sending any emails to the subscribers for anything. All I want is once someone subscribe, then they get a notification via email of some sort that a blog post is published. Is this not possible or what do I need to set up to get this result?

    Hi @facetocurls,

I am Nik, jumping here on behalf of Prashant.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with email delivery.

To troubleshoot the issue, you can check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.

If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely because the emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent directly from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.

To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure a SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.

    I hope this helps ??

    Hi @facetocurls,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
