    Jetpack Mechanic ??

I tried using the form, and it seems to be working properly. I subscribed to your blog, and you can now see my email address in your subscriber list.

It’s worth noting that confirmation emails are only sent once, so if you previously attempted to subscribe but never clicked on the link in the confirmation email, you won’t receive a new email if you use the subscription form again today.

You can confirm your pending subscription here:

    Thanks Jeremy,

So what if someone subscribes but they don’t get the confirmation email for some reason, or they miss it, or it goes in junk or whatever.

For example, I asked a friend to try to subscribe last night, she did not get the confirmation email; no idea why.

Other than going to https://subscribe.wordpress.com/ is there another way for her to activate her subscription? Can I do it from my side somehow?

Is there a way for me to see unconfirmed subscriptions to my site?

    Thanks again,

    Susan

Could you send me an email and mention this thread as well as your friend’s email address? I’ll be happy to check our email logs and see what happened with the email.

The link in the confirmation email and the Subscribe sites are the 2 only ways to activate a subscription.

Jetpack Subscriptions require a double opt-in before you can access your subscribers’ email addresses. This protects readers from being subscribed to a site without their consent. That’s also why you can’t confirm a subscription from your side.

    Thanks again.

She was trying from her mobile phone. She was later successful on her computer.

Thanks for the rest, and the good jetpack plugin which overall I find great.

    Susan
