Subscribers not being put into groups they choose

Thanks for reporting the issue. I just did a few tests on a localhost install running v5.1.2. I setup a check box interest grouping, with three options: check1, check2 and check3. Here is a screenshot of the form on the front end :

I did two form submission tests. Once selecting check1, and check3 and the second time selecting check2. You can see from the screenshot below that both form submissions registered the interest groups selected.

Are you certain the interest groups aren’t being registered within MailChimp? I can’t seem to reproduce the issue on my end.

What I notice is that my mailchimp list setup looks different than yours:

I don’t have either “dropdown group” or “check group,” instead I have “group membership.”

I built my form within the Yikes interface from dashboard. Is that the correct way to do it?

This is a new subscription created using the form, having chosen one of the groups I’ve set up (but not landing in it on the list). Does it look like my setup is right?

Do you have any suggestions on how I can troubleshoot this?

Hi lisa,

If you login to your MailChimp account and select the list you want to work with. At the top of the page select groups. You can add groups from this page, which should appear on the form. You may need to click the reimport button after you add the groups.

Thanks. I went with an embedded sign-up form directly from MailChimp and that seems to work just fine. I wasn’t able to get the plugin form working with the interest groups. Thanks for your help!
