Subscribers never get notified of conversations

    So, I noticed a while back that people haven’t been coming back to comment, even though they do comment fairly regularly. I had a hunch that something wasn’t right and I had a user confirm that, in the WordPress app, they will get a notification that I liked their comment, but never a notification that I replied. Any ideas? Comments are the lifeblood of my blog and many others!

    I’m addition to the information I have already provided and I have a hunch it’s directly related, my comments aren’t appearing in the WordPress reader under conversations. Other things are functioning correctly in the jetpack plugin such as integrated comments, posts viewable in reader.

    Thanks for reaching out! I see that you recently posted about trouble with posts showing in the Reader. That original issue has been resolved and posts are now showing. But now comments are not showing and comment notifications are not working. Is that correct?

    If that is indeed correct, this might be due to an out-of-sync connection between Jetpack and your site. I’ve just started a process to refresh that syncing process. Can you please let us know if the issue persists after that? Let us know either way and we can go from there!

    I appreciate what you are doing in advance. It is correct that I had an issue with the posts not showing at all in reader, which has been resolved. It is not that comments aren’t showing, as you can probably see if you visit my site, it is that they aren’t showing in conversation view in the reader and app notifications ( just to be clear ). How long shall I wait for the re-sync to happen before checking?

    We’ve checked your site. The last incremental sync was 4 hours ago, and the last full-sync was 11 hours ago.

    Checking your notification and comments in Reader, they’re all good now.

    Feel free to open a new thread here if you have another issue.
