Subscribers missing information

  • Hi,
    1. I’m trying to figure out why when exporting my subscribers as CSV file, some have certain details and some not.
    details like: country, IP address, Name and more…
    so my question is, why it happens? I checked the sign up forms, all the same.

    2. How can I segment my mailing lists according to a certain detail? for example, according to country.

    Would appreciate your prompt response.

  • Hi,

    To create a new list based on a custom field, you will need to export it to a CSV and filter it in Excel for example and import your subscribers back to a new list.

    If you imported subscribers in the past they could’ve come with some custom fields. So the custom fields are not present o n all subscribers.

    Thanks for your response.
    I didn’t understand from your answer what determine if MailPoet collects data like country.
    It is really important for me to understand so that I know where I was mistaken.
    I need this information collected.
