It is a certainty that my site will legitimately exceed the 1000 subscriber limit and trigger a paid subscription … but I’m having trust issues with this product right now and questioning my continued dependence on it.

    Hi!

You’re checking the “List” section in MailPoet, where you can see all the subscribers that are added to your lists, but you can’t see those subscribers who aren’t added to any list.

Please check the “Subscribers” section, there you can check the number of them.

    Have a nice day!

Thanks for the reply. I viewed the Subscribers section, as directed, and found subscribed users who are not subscribed to any lists. For practical purposes, what does “subscribed” mean in this case?

The tip text says the count is “the total of subscribed, unconfirmed and inactive subscribers …. The count excludes unsubscribed”. My assumption is/was that a user who is not subscribed to any list is unsubscribed. Or “inactive”, at least. Bottom line is, Mail Poet Sending Service is not servicing these users, why does their presence add value to my use of Mail Poet?

    Hi @scottking,

For practical purposes, what does “subscribed” mean in this case?

“Subscribed” are active contacts, who you can send emails to.

If you have “Subscribed” users who are not added to any list, it could mean their previous list has been deleted. You can use the bulk actions to move them to a list of your choice, so you can email them.
