I’ve added a checkbox in our contact form (Contact Form 7), and have added the code from the Integration page of the Mailchimp for WordPress plugin to our contact form code. However, on testing (with a new email address), I am not getting subscribed to the Mailchimp list. Any fixes for this?

    Hello @ evft,

Can you please check “MailChimp for WP > Others” page in your WordPress admin and let us know if you are seeing any errors?

Also, please double check if all the required fields in your MailChimp list are added to your Contact Form 7 form.

Hi Harish, thanks for getting back so quickly. I found out that as you said, some of the required fields in my Mailchimp list were causing errors, so have created a new Mailchimp list specifically for this contact form.

I’ve tested it, and subscriptions are working however it’s still not importing the first name (FNAME). Last name and email address are fine. How do I fix this? Thanks!

Can you please share a screenshot showing the various fields in your MailChimp list and also a link to your CF7 form?

    Hi Harish,

Here’s the screenshot of the Mailchimp list fields:

And here’s a link to the CF7 form:

Thanks so much for your help Harish, really appreciate it.

I am having the same problem. I’m sure I’ve set everything up correctly. But no data is flowing to MailChimp.

    Hi again,

The screenshot does not show the field names. Once you login to your MailChimp account and go to your list, click on the “List fields & Merge tags” sub menu located under “Settings”. Please see attached screenshot. Secondly please go to the “MailChimp for WP” page in your WordPress backend and click on “Renew MailChimp lists button”.

Here is the screenshot as you asked for.

And yep, have Renewed the Mailchimp lists on WP backend a number of times.

    Hello,

Can you please rename the name fields in your CF7 form to match the once in your MailChimp list? Our plugin is able to auto detect name fields, but the field names you have used are not standard.

For e.g. for the first name field, the name you used is “your-name” and for the last name field you used “LastName”.

Please change these to “FNAME” & “LNAME” respectively and try again. Once you change the field names, you would need to edit your CF7 form mail settings to update the names there too.

Hi Harish, I’m very confused as to where you’re getting “your-name” and “LastName” from?? The screenshot shows I’m using the Mailchimp tags FNAME and LNAME.
