    1. Upon sending an email or recalculating subscribers, a list or segment I receive the a message ‘Unknown error’. In ‘System status’ I see this message: ‘SubscribersCountCacheRecalculation: Invalid type’.

I can’t send my planned mailings right now.

    2. I did try to send my campaign 3 times. I can see three running tasks. Can I delete these tasks to avoid that subscriber receive the email thrice once the problem would be resolved?

Exporting my subscribers doesn’t work either. I get ‘Invalid type’ message in the front end and ‘SubscribersCountCacheRecalculation: Invalid type’ in system status.

    Hi there @bernardnys,

    Thanks for reaching out!

That’s odd. I couldn’t find any similar reports.

Can you please give the following things a try?

    1. Could you please follow these instructions to?re-install the plugin via FTP?and let me know if it works? That should rule out any issues with your installation. Don’t worry,?you won’t lose any data from the plugin.
    2. If the issue persists please switch your theme to a default one (Twenty Twenty) and disable all your plugins and see if MailPoet works? If it does work, enable your theme and all your other plugins one after the other until MailPoet breaks again. You’ll be able to tell us what’s at fault. You can refer to this article.

Let us know how that goes!

    Hello,
Thank you for your response. On the internet I came across this issue multiple times, but not too often. One of the returning suggestions was that it may be related to a plugin used for caching. I was using super cache and I replaced by W3 cache. It didn’t help. However, in the meantime, a new update for the MailPoet became available two days ago. I installed it and the problem was resolved.
Note, short time before this last update I already installed another update for MailPoet and I have the impression that the problem occurred in this brief intermediate period.

I had tried three times and I had three running tasks in the queue that were stuck. Is there a way to manage this queue when something goes wrong, i.e. to do one more test and avoid that the mailing is sent multiple times when all of a sudden, the issue seems to be resolved?

All in all, the problem is solved at this moment due to installation of the latest update.

    Kind regards,

    Bernard
