Subscribers (bots) are making pending posts

  • I logged in today and noticed dozens pending posts. All of them are spam and gibberish but the strange part is that regular subscribers posted them.

    I don’t have any plugins that manage user roles but Buddypress is installed and this started happening right after (2days after) i installed buddypress.

    I also registered a new account to see if I could create a new post using that account and everything seems normal, I get an error saying I don’t have permission to post anything (as expected).

    it seems they can not make draft posts or regular posts.

    the problem is that i do not know if this is truly buddypress related or not.
