Subscribers and Groups are not being loaded

Hi all,
I am having issues with the Subscribers and Groups features. I’ve read all the posts in the forum but I couldn’t find a solution.
I am using BotPress.org since my site is not with SSL.
I can easily send messages to my channel.
However the Subscribers and Groups list remain empty. Hence none of them receives messages.
I set WP as debug, and was able to add a Subscriber and a Group manually (using the chat_id as the post title). After that, I was able to send messages to them. But I would like to have the feature that Users and Groups are automatically loaded in the WP Plugin.
Another thing I noticed is that the bot is not answering to any command and not even giving the Welcome messages to users or groups.
I tried revoking the token and using debug mode.
In the Log I don’t see anything, is like there’s no even an error. Sounds like the plugin is not getting any incoming connection from Telegram.
