Subscriber Referrer Not Showing

    Thanks for making this plugin!

    I was hoping to use it to get an idea of who/what is requesting the RSS feed but the referrer stats just show either the rss feed URL itself or “n/a”.

    Why would I just be seeing self referral or n/a as the referrer?

    Perhaps I don’t fully understand how RSS feed requests work. The RSS feed is just using the default WordPress setup and not linked to any service like feedburner.

    Because it is becoming increasingly popular for clients and services to disable the referrer information that’s reported along with requests. Not uncommon at all, nothing to worry about.
