    Hello and good day.

I installed your booking plugin and after days of trying to locate the default Subscriber role for wordpress, I find out that your plugin has renamed it for its booking support.

Why would it need to rename default wordpress role for starters, and why are users not told about this before and after installation?

I have been trying to get another plugin installed and configured which needs the subscriber role and after days of troubleshooting realized it was your plugin that has caused its mysterious disappearance.

    Hello.
Plugin does not rename or make any actions with WordPress roles.
In the Booking Calendar plugin you can only define the minimum user roles for accessing the booking admin menus.
But Booking Calendar for sure does not rename the use roles or make any other actions with user roles.
Please recheck more carefully about some other plugin that can be reason of that issue.
    Thank you.

This is what my web host told me.

After checking a few of my other websites there is no subscriber role on those either (and they do not use your booking plugin).

Thanks for the response. Apologies for the confusion.

    Hello.
    1) Booking Calendar does not rename “…default WordPress role for starters”.

    2) I do not sure that clearly understand you, because of this “…few of my other websites there is no subscriber role on those either (and they do not use your booking plugin)…”

The question is about of having the “Subscriber” user role at the website with Booking Calendar , but it have not to be so ?
Or what do you mean ?

In any case, Booking Calendar does not create / rename / or delete the WordPress user roles for sure.

    3) The only thing that is relative to the WordPress user roles with Booking Calendar plugin, it’s ability to select minimum user role for the Booking Calendar menus at the Booking > Settings General page. There is list of such fixed values: “Subscriber”, “Contributor”, “Author”, “Editor”, “Administrator”.
Fixed values is means that plugin is listing such values does not depend if such roles exist or not.
But Booking Calendar does not edit or delete or rename the standard WordPress user roles.
    Kind Regards.
