Subscribe2 with Themed Registration

  • I installed a Themed Login (https://www.jameskelly.org/wordpress-plugins/custom-login-and-registration-forms-plugin/) and then Subscribe 2 (https://subscribe2.wordpress.com/) plugins.

    I checked the autosubscribe option in Subscribe2 so that when a user registers, they are automatically added to the list. I also added the Subscribe widget so that someone could just subscribe without registering.

    The issue I am seeing:

    When a user registers, they are not added to Subscribe2 list. Nor do they get the email confrimation where they activate the subscription.

    I read in James Kelly’s site that he completely replaces wp-register. I can only assume that WordPress is using the themes Register and bypassing the Subscribe2 register, thus the regitsered user is not added?

    Where would I start to fix this?
