Subscribe2 send notification based on users language

I tried to accomplish exactly this working with the authors of WPML a while ago. Sadly the API of the WPML plugin does not provide everything that Subscribe2 needs so to my knowledge this is currently not possible.

Wouldn’t it be enough if you just had the current language?
