Subscribe2 plugin — red exclamation mark?

  • What does the red exclamation mark next to some subscribers’ names mean? I googled this issue & saw some answers but didn’t understand them. Can someone give me an answer that is REALLY BASIC. Also, some subscribers have a box under the red exclamation mark column & others do not. Would love to know what this means / is for
