• This is wierd but I added the subscribe2 plugin and it works great.
I added it to my links menu so it pulls up at https://mysite.com/subscribe.php

the problem is when someone clicks on the link on internet explorer it says it can’t find the file. I’ve refreshed it a bunch on ie and sometimes it will show up.

And I’ve tried setting the chmod to 777 and still no luck

    any ideas?

  • Did you upload the subscribe.php file into your main WordPress directory? I also just installed it and it works fine, but I did have to put the full path to the file https://www.mysite.com/subscribe.php . Running IE 6.

Did put the full path. and it doesn’t work. Even when I type in the full path.

Then my next question would be, is your wordpress files in your main html directory folder or a subfolder, such as blog? Because it it’s in a subfolder then you’d need to include the subfolder name in the path.

Sorry, let me explain. I really know what I’m talking about.
The File IS there. I have the right url for it, path and all.

It works fine in firefox and I can pull it up from my FTP

but on Internet Explorer it somehow can’t find the file.

The file IS there. I’m SURE of it.

    thanks.

P.S. This is occuring on two different websites of mine with subscribe2 on them. It’s on the same server, so maybe there is something about that, but who knows.

As the author of the plugin, I’ve no idea why this is happening. Are there any other pages that MSIE does not display that Firefox will? Can an MSIE user verify that my subscribe.php file is accessible?

IE6 on XP – I see your page just fine skippy.

Might this be a problem with some of IE’s security settings?
