    I read the installation instructions for Subscribe2 on the plugin’s download page. However, the plugin is not displaying the subscription form on this site.

    Could someone help me fix this? I’ve been trying to fix it for 1 hour now. I had the Ajax quick subcribe plugin on the site last summer but I removed it cause it doesn’t seem to work. I only have subscribe2 plugin and no associated plugins.

  • @befree22,

    I cannot access your site at all as I’m getting an Internal Server Error.

    Once you have fixed that I suspect you simply need to log out to see the form and you may have been seeing a link to the Your Subscription page instead while logged in – this is expected behaviour.

    The 500 error is fixed. I had created a “subscribe” page in WP admin pages but when I attempt to subscribe an email using the form, I’m getting a message telling me that the “subscribe” page doesn’t exist on the server.

    The subscribe2 install instructions stated to leave a line above and below the shortcode on the “subscribe” page and I did this but when I saved the page, WP removed the blank line above the shortcode.

    @befree22,

    I think your issues extend beyond Subscribe2 – none of the links in the menu strop over the top of the page work. /blog /lyrics /credits and so on all arrive on a 404 – Page not found page.

    I started having an issue with WP Pages after I added a .htaccess file. I’ll fix this issue.
