    When using Subscribe via Email I am getting this error:
    “An error occurred while subscribing. Try again.”

    Tried Safari and Firefox on OSX. Both same issue.

    I’m also having issues with the email subscription feature. No email confirmation is sent to the user’s mailbox and their email does not appear in the subscribe list. ??

    @marco-raaphorst I tried using the form on your site, and it seems to be working properly. I subscribed to your blog, and you can now see my email address in your subscriber list.

    It’s worth noting that confirmation emails are only sent once, so if you previously attempted to subscribe but never clicked on the link in the confirmation email, you won’t receive a new email if you use the subscription form again today.

    If you’d like, you can send me an email via this contact form and mention this thread, as well as a few examples of the email addresses that didn’t receive a confirmation email. I’ll be happy to take a look at our email logs to find out what happened.

    I deleted all Pending emails although I couldn’t find it there. (and it’s weird to recieve an error message if it is simply pending! wordpress should fix that)

    Tried it again. No error message this time.

    But NO approval email aither. Nothing in spam. Can’t find it under https://subscribe.wordpress.com/ Pending.

    Jetpack is buggy it seems. Have had much trouble with it in the past as well I should say.

    Tried it again. Same emailaddress. Same message.

    But now the email was incoming. Something is wrong with the WP/Jetpack servers I am sure.

    Thank you! I’ve marked this thread so the moderators can jump in and remove your email address above, so it does not get caught by spammers in the future.

    I don’t notice anything wrong with that email address in our logs; all recent subscription emails were sent with no errors.

    NO approval email aither. Nothing in spam. Can’t find it under https://subscribe.wordpress.com/ Pending.

    If this happens again, could you check the URL appearing at the top of your browser after clicking on the submit button to subscribe on the site, and let me know what parameters are added to the end of that URL?
