Subscribe/unsubscribe moved elsewhere

I would like to copy in single forum view the link subscribe/unsubscribe link with PHP somewhere else. But what is the function I would need in my own PHP code and how to get function arguments in order to do that.

I have created function menu (in Finnish Toimintovalikko). I would duplicate the functionality there.

I might hide the original functionality with CSS.
