    Hi,

    Is it possible to setup this kind of system with the notification plugin :

    – A user subscribes to a category on the frontend
    – A new notification is created for that user
    – When a new post with that category is published, this user gets a notification

    unfortunately not at the moment, but we’ll be releasing Subscriptions add-on this year.

    Curious on the upcoming Subscriptions add-on, will it handle anonymous users as well (double opt-in to confirm subscription), or only authenticated site users?

    @jnorell of course it will support double opt-in and anonymous users!

    You just made me think about the authenticated users and easier list joining but also other carriers support. Have to consider this, thanks!

    This is a big deal, I’m looking for this feature right now for a client. Following this, and +1 for that add-on!
