    Hi,

I have a website “A” with a Mailpoet newsletter. On this site people can subscribe to this newsletter by checking a checkbox in a Contact Form 7 form. That’s al working nicely.

Then there is a website “B”, with an other Contact Form 7 form which is collecting data from visitors. Here I would like to have a checkbox as well to subscribe to the newsletter from website “A”… Is this possible?

  • I’ve been able to do what wenkunst wants to do in Mailchimp, but I’d prefer to use MailPoet. In my Mailchimp list on website A, I can get a copy of the raw html statements for a specific subscriber list (under Lists, Embedded Forms, and Naked). I can paste that html text into a call to action button on Website B. When someone completes their subscription information on Website B, they’re subscribed on Website A. Both websites use WordPress.

You should grab the iframe version of your MailPoet Subscription Form and include it on a text widget inside website B. This is the only way to subscribe users to a MailPoet that is installed in another website.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve tried it by copying the iframe text from website A (where MailPoet resides) and pasting it into a text widget on Website B (where it doesn’t). That seemed to work because the widget appeared in the appropriate place with all the appropriate fields. However, when I clicked “Submit”, nothing happened and no confirmation email appeared.

I then checked my MailPoet Subscription list back on Website A and confirmed that no new user was subscribed.

I checked the src= parameter in the iframe, and the first part of the address was appropriately pointing at website A (I couldn’t interpret the rest).

I thought that there might be conflicts arising from other related plugins, such as the Mailchimp plugin on website B. I de-activated them, but still had no luck.

    Suggestions?

Try to update to the latest version 2.6.17 where we fixed an issue on the iframe version of the subscription form.

    It works now. Thanks!
