    Hi there,

I was looking through an old support post and one of your colleagues demoed how to subscribe to The Events Calendar iCal using the following demo link:

    https://wpshindig.com/?ical=1&tribe_display=month

I tested this link by adding the link to my Google Calendar as a From URL calendar. The link works perfectly and I can see the events for October in my calendar.

Using the syntax of the link I created the same link for my The Events Calendar and added this to Google Calendar. Link is

    https://mastersvolleyball.net/events/?ical=1&tribe_display=month

No events display in my Google Calendar and I wondering if I’m doing something wrong? Is there a setting to allow the subscribe to iCal? If I pop the above link in my browser the browser asks if I’d like to download an .ics file which is expected. So I’m not sure why the subscribe to iCal is not working for me when it works fine for your demo website.

I’d like my users to be able to subscribe to the calendar so if any events are changed/modified their mobile/desktop calendars will update automatically.

I’m using The Events Calendar free version with Registrations for The Events Calendar plugin.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Mark

I think I’ve figured it out. The /events/ link is login protected as my website is a members only website. So this would explain why I can’t subscribe to the iCal link.

    Thanks.
