• I have a problem using the Subscribe-to-Comments Plugin version 2.1 on my WordPress blog version 2.3.1 DE-Edition.
The blog is running on a Windows Server 2003 using IIS.

Generally, the plugin works fine in connection with adding subscriptions and email notifications on new comments.

But I’m not able to open the subscription manager by clicking on associated manager-links.
For instance, when I click on a received manager-link like:

    https://www.myblogdomain.com/?wp-subscription-manager=1&email=myname%40mydomain.com&key=c298783fa2a450074e6f17776ed1435b

instead of the subscription manager page only the blog main page is shown.

Did I miss to setup some configuration values or is this a general (known?) problem for WordPress blogs running on Windows/IIS?

I also tried the last two-file version 2.0.8 of the plugin with the additional wp-subscription-manager.php in the blog root directory and this version is working fine.
But since there have meanwhile been some major XSS security fixes, I want to use the latest version 2.1.

The problem is still present in Subscribe-to-Comments version 2.1.2.

I’m running WordPress 2.3.2 on a Windows 2003 box with PHP 5.1 and MySQL 5. I noticed the same thing. You can subscribe to blog posts, but you can’t manage your subscriptions. Turns out the problem had to do with permalinks. I switched back to default linking (i.e. /blogs/?p=123 and now the Subscribe-to-comments management feature works fine.

    thanks for the reply.
I tested the workaround using default linking instead of permalinks, but the problem is still present.

Beside that, permalinks are more important for me, so I rather don’t use the subscribe-to-comments-plugin than using default linking.

i have the same problem and i am not using windows server i am using linux server.
