• Hi,

I’ve recently tried a few plugins that allows people to subscribe to comments, but none of them worked. (Tried “Subscribe to comments”, “Comment reply notification” and another one I forgot its name)

The plugins don’t seem to be able to send messages, since the spam folder of my readers’ emails (and myself’s) doesn’t get a message from my blog neither.

Any idea what could be wrong?

Your help is so much appreciated ??

  • Could be a conflict? Are you using some other plugin to comment functions? Any plugin to edit comment with ajax, pagination… ? If so, try to desactive them and run the new plugin again.

Not really. The only plugin that I have that deals with comments is Akisment, and I doubt it’s the source of the issue.

Did you try to send a simple e-mail from your blog? From a contact form, for example. It worked? Maybe you have to configure your email settings.

Contact forms work well, no problems there. ??

These plugins use ajax to subscribe?

Hello! My contact form works… But I have tried “subscribe to comments” and “comments notifier” and both doesn’t work when it comes to send the notifications and I don’t know why… could somebody help me on this?

Thank you very much in advance!
