subscribe to comments

  • It seems there is no way for MailPoet3 (free) to handle comment notification (subscribe to comments).
    Any plans on implementing this feature?

  • Hi there @stebato,

    In the wp-admin > MailPoet > Settings, you can enable “subscribe in comments” which allows a user to subscribe to your mailing list when they leave a comment.

    Or were you looking for something else?

    Thanks a lot @wysija.

    I am aware of the option of letting commenters choose to subscribe to my blog or other mailing lists.

    However, I cannot find a way to let commenters subscribe to future comments to that post only.

    At present I use the plugin Lightweight Subscribe To Comments. But it would be nice to trim down the number of plugins.

    Lightweight Subscribe To Comments apparently is no longer maintained, so I am going to be looking for a substitute.

    Before putting too much effort into my search, it would be nice to get to know if MailPoet has any plans on incorporating a feature of letting commenters choose to be notified on subsequent comments.

    No hurry, but it would be nice to know before Easter.
