Subscribe on registration form

  • Hi there,
    when I select Subscribe on registration form in Mailpoet Settings, users receive confirmation email even if they DON’T check the checkbox in the registration form.

    Checked or not checked, user receive confirmation email of the newsletter.

    Is that a bug? In the previous version, it worked very well.

    I tried on several website and doesn’t work on every website.

    Could you help me?

    @treibalen Hi there, I updated Mailpoet with last two versions but issue still remain. User receive newsletter email confirmation even if they did not checked option.

    Could you fix it? It is a GDPR violation.

    The fix wasn’t released yet but it’s logged for our devs.

    Maybe I’m wrong, but how could that be a GDPR violation if a user is not being subscribed without consent in this case but is only sent an email?

    Hi is it possible to share a subscription link with 2 website? I have a membership site and a main site but would link to share the newsletter link.
