    Hello,

If I go into a users profile in the admin and click the User Subscribed button and update the user it says its been updated BUT the tickbox is unticked.

Also if I set the user meta in the database to 1 and then go to the users profile in the admin, it resets it back to 0

  • I’m also experiencing the same problem on my blog: Kali’s Kiss Tattoo

Can somebody help me solve this?
    Thank you so much

Hi @dabeecher @kaliskiss thanks for your patience. We wanted to check back with you all to see if this is still an issue. We’ve tested v2.7.4 of the plugin and we are unable to recreate the problem you’re experiencing.

Please let us know if you’re seeing something different on your end and we’ll be glad to investigate further.

    Hi @khungate,

This is still an issue for myself.

Would I be able to provide you an admin login to my website to take a look? As its stopping me from pushing my users to MailChimp

Hi @dabeecher, we’re happy to take a closer look:

    1. Please enable Remote Diagnostics in your store’s Settings tab
    2. Provide your store URL
    3. Give us an order ID associated with the customer email. Do not post the email address here.

    Thanks!

    Hi @khungate,

They haven’t necessarily placed an order yet, I imported my users from a previous Website where they had signed up.

Therefore I wanted to manually tick in users accounts.

Is this not possible? Is that why it’s reverting back

Hi @dabeecher I see this is a duplicate post and will close. But, I’ll paste what we noted the other ticket just in case:

We’ve been able to recreate on our end and it appears to be a caching bug that we can tweak in a future release.

    – When checking the subscribe box for someone from the admin, that value doesn’t appear to “stick”.
    – But, if you view the plugin logs there is a successful transmission over to Mailchimp for the customer update.
    – Currently, there is a 5 minute cache on that admin screen that we need to change up a bit so it reflects the chosen status on reload.
    – This is already in testing for our next release to be fixed, we understand that’s not a great user experience, but the subscriber status is accurately reflected after 5 minutes.

We appreciate the feedback, we’ll get things fixed up as soon as possible.
