Just set up Jetpack on a client’s site primarily for the “subscribe” feature. Tests fine for me, but when the client tested it she didn’t see the “confirm” email because it had been junk-filtered (she uses Mac “Mail”). If it happened to her it will happen to others, and like her they won’t necessarily be sophisticated enough to check the junk box.

Is there any way to tweak the outgoing confirm email so it doesn’t trigger spam-filtering? Has anyone else run into this?

Hi! We do get occasional reports about this. We send out millions of emails each day, and unfortunately, some do get caught up in spam filters (though it has never happened for me personally). We are working on improving the subscription process, but for th emoment, anyone can go to https://subscribe.wordpress.com to manage their subscriptions, including confirming any pending subscriptions.
