Subscribe by email – Language modification

    Hi

    Thanks for your great plugin.

    My client use the “Subscribe by email” on his website. However, when the user receives an email the wording “Blog Name” and “Blog URL” is added to the email. How do I change that wording?

    Additionally, how can I change the “Confirm Follow” text and delete the “If you want to see all of the blogs you follow on the web in one easy place, sign up for a WordPress.com account.” text from the email?

    Hi Mike,

    Those text elements aren’t configurable and are part of the template on WordPress.com that are used for all Jetpack/WordPress.com subscription confirmations.

    It would be sweet (although I know this is complex) to grand users the option to translate and modify everything in the email sent our to the subscriber.

    Agreed! All of the elements are translatable—see https://translate.wordpress.com (the e-mails are part of the WordPress.com project. The Jetpack project contains what is exclusively in the Jetpack codebase).

    Outside of translating the English text into other languages for the benefit of all users, no. The template is the same in all cases.
