Subscibe Checkbox isn’t visible

I have followed this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DU89_6PK7Q to make sure i’d do it correctly. In this video he has a checkbox beside his label that says “Subscribe to our newsletter”.
On my website it only shows the text. There is no checkbox.
What can i do?
