subpages

Hello, i wanted to give my website https://www.peenvogel.nl a new theme. Upgrading worked smoothly but once i was done with giving all the widgets a new place i found out that my subpages weren’t showing on the parentpage.

The subpages are still in the dropdown-menu but not showing like they use to do

In the old situation, i’ve installed the old time back for the time being, it looked like this https://www.peenvogel.nl/?page_id=669. All the subpages are shown at the bottom of this page.

But when i want to use twenty-fourteen for instance they won’t show. Yes, they are in the menu but not on the page itself. I’ve tried a few other themes as well. But to no avail. Can someone please help me out?
