    Hello Support Team,

    Hope you’re safe n home.

I came across one problem where the order is divided into sub-orders when there are products from multiple vendors.
Let’s assume the order contains 2 items from 2 different vendors:

    1. Main Order ID: 100
    Item1 – $18
    Item2 – $25
    Shipping – $10
    Order total cost – $53

    2. Suborder ID: 101
    Item1 – $18
    Order total cost – $18

    2. Suborder ID: 102
    Item1 – $25
    Order total cost – $25

This is the division that the plugin does when the order is placed.
The problem here is both the vendors at their dashboard do not come to know about the shipping charge in the main order.

So, how is the shipping cost managed in the sub-orders?

    Regards,
    Adarsh Verma.

  • Hello @shobhit2412 ,

When there are sub-orders all vendor see the order just like any other individual order so they can see the shipping rates as well.

Here is my full order details from admin side – https://prnt.sc/tdb697
    Vendor 1 order details – https://prnt.sc/tdb7bp
    Vendor 2 order details – https://prnt.sc/tdb7vt

Please make sure you are using the updated Dokan Lite version and you are not using any other third party shipping management plugins.

    Thank you.

    Hello @rur165,

Thanks for your response. I’m using the latest stable version of Dokan Lite, and have configured a custom shipping plugin, which works similar to other WooCommerce shipping methods.

Yet, I do not get the shipping prices separately. Is there any way I can check as to why the shipping charges are not showing?

Also, in your screenshots, I can see 2 separate shipping charges in the screenshot: https://prnt.sc/tdb697
Does this mean, the order is placed one time, and the shipping charges are charged twice?
Or the total shipping charge was $4 which is divided into $2 each?

    Regards,
    Adarsh Verma.

    Hello @shobhit2412 ,

have configured a custom shipping plugin, which works similar to other WooCommerce shipping methods.

As you are using a custom shipping plugin that can modify how Dokan works and can create conflict. We are unable to help much with a plugin conflict that has no official integration with Dokan.

Also, in your screenshots, I can see 2 separate shipping charges in the screenshot: https://prnt.sc/tdb697
Does this mean, the order is placed one time, and the shipping charges are charged twice?

The screenshot is from the admin’s parent order. There are two shipping charges because the order was from two different vendors and for each vendor, there will be separate shipping charges applied to the order.

    Thank you ??
