Submitting the donation form takes ages

    Hello

    When submitting a donation form it takes at least 10 seconds! Even though the website normally loads under 3 seconds.

    POST to page ?payment-mode=offline takes around 10 seconds.

    Is anyone experiencing the same problem?

    I just tested with the Offline Donations gateway. I can see it definitely takes a bit. I believe it’s most likely about how much javascript you’re running on that site and a need for a bit of caching or quicker web host.

    I also see a very long javascript string at the very top of the page that is triggering an error. Not sure whether that is slowing things down as well, but it seems symptomatic of the overall issue.

    I don’t think there’s anything unique or specific to Give that is causing the slowness itself. I’d suggest researching ways to cache and optimize your WordPress site particularly with smarter script loading and whatnot.
