Thank you for this great plugin! Having one small issue:

User submissions create a post based on a custom post type. I want the post author to always be an existing, assigned User which I set up as the “Assigned Author” in USP settings. That looks like it’s working – I see the correct Author in the drop down when editing the post.

However, I’m seeing the submitted “User Name” in the Post listings in the Admin and on the frontend post meta display ( function get_the_author() ). I was expecting to see the assigned User name in both places. Is that possible?

    Thanks
    Justin

Glad to help. What you describe is not a current feature of the plugin, only if your theme includes the required functionality/hooks will the author replace take place in those specific areas. Here is a post with more information about the requirements. I hope it helps, let me know if I can provide any further infos.

Thanks for the quick reply. Actually I don’t want the Author replaced. But I see that I have to check the “Disable Replace Author” box *and* select an “Assigned Author” – checking the box did the trick. Thanks!
