I wanted to add [submit-review] to the Description of a Woocommerce product but when added the Star Rating won’t work on the bottom of the Product Reviews tab.

Also tried to add Pagination to the Reviews Tab but get an error ‘ orderby=’Date’ order=’DESC’ post_count=’-1′ only_reviews=’Yes’ current_page=’2′] and stays on page 1.

    Hi Hannes,

What do you have set for the “Review Score Input” option in the “Basic” area of the “Options” tab? Try setting it to “Stars” and then checking your form again.

We’ll take a look to see if we can recreate the pagination error you’re seeing.

Could you send a link to the page on which you’re getting the “orderby=’Date’ order=’DESC’ post_count=’-1′ only_reviews=’Yes’ current_page=’2′]” error?

    Thank you

    Thanks for the reply.
I had it set to “Star”. See https://www.backballer.com/product/backballer/#reviews for Pagination.

Also noticed that when you click on the “Customer Reviews” link at the top of the product page the Reviews tab opens but the page does not move down to the Reviews area.

    Hi Hannes,

Thank you for following up. We were able to isolate the problem and have just released an update that should correct any remaining issues with the pagination and filtering. Please update to version 2.0.3 when it becomes available.

I don’t believe it ever did move down to the reviews tab when clicking on “Customer Reviews”. I can note this as a feature suggestion and hopefully we can add it in a future update.

Cheers the pagination is working now.

Moving down to the reviews area after clicking on “Customer Reviews” would be nice – must be a template addition as it does it here

Similar to that – when you click the pagination it is moved to the bottom of the page and you have to scroll up. Would be nice if it went back up to the top of the reviews tab for that page.
    Thanks

Actually just checked and if the plugin is disabled then the page moves down to the reviews area after clicking on “Customer Reviews”

    Hi hannes,

We have no control of the behaviour of WooCommerce when our plugin is disabled and, likewise, because it does it when our plugin is disabled, doesn’t mean it will do it when our plugin is enabled. We replace the WooCommerce reviews tab with ours. We’ve got it marked down as a feature request.

Overiding the rating.php template under single-product in woocommerce and replacing href=”#reviews” with href=”#tab-reviews” has worked. Also the Yootheme template we use has an option for smooth scrolling so by adding data-uk-smooth-scroll="{offset: 99}" to the a tag it scrolls down rather than jumps.

    Hi hannes,

Thank you for sharing what you did on your end.
