Submit PDF and attachments in same email

Is it possible to have a File Upload field in my form and have that plus the PDF of my form results emailed to me? Right now, if I have a File Upload field, only those files are included as an attachment in my email. If I don’t upload a file, I still do not receive a PDF of my form submission.

I tried the directions here: https://support.gravitypdf.com/t/attaching-files-to-notification-along-with-pdf/413 but I had no success. Is this possible and compatibile with the newest version of Gravity Forms?
