• This is probably my own fault; just wondering if someone else might have experienced a similar problem, somehow:

For users on my blog who would normally see a “Submit for Review” button on their Add New Post page (Author, Contributor, etc.), all of the fields on the Add New Post page are smashed into the right column, making it unusable. (Everything functions; you just can’t see what you’re typing!) The Categories and Post Tags boxes are actually caught inside the “Publish” box; the rest just line up down the side of the page. In the Screen Options menu, 2 column layout is selected.

I’ve been experimenting with various Role Managers, so I thought one of those might have messed things up. (Although all plugins are off, at this time.) If I enable one of the role managers and give, say, the Contributor role the publish_posts capability, the Add New Post page for that role becomes usable again. So it seems the problem revolves around the “Submit for Review” option somehow?

Any guesses as to what might be wrong? Is there some way I can manually reset some role data in my database to see if that might be the problem?

    Thanks!

Sorry — thought I had everything off; tracked it down to the Post Type Switcher plugin.
