Submit Event Form straight to post?

I have created an events calendar for my site at https://mudsugar.com/events/?cat=2 which I’m currently working on. I would like the “ADD AN EVENT” button to link to a small Add an Event form similar to the one that pops-up at https://www.rvamag.com/events.php when click on the “CLICK HERE” button that will send the information to my post management page or directly into posts. Is this possible?
