Submit entries without login, but prevent editing

    I have enabled “Allow posting without logging in?” but…

    I read in the docs that “A password is sent to the user for future usage, like for example to come back and edit his/her listing. In that case they will need to log in”

    Can I prevent users editing their entries? I only want to collect submissions and then an admin will modify them.

    Hello,

    listings cannot be edited without an edit link – so, if you refrain from placing GD Author actions on the GD Details or GD Archive item, the users won’t be able to edit it.

    GD doesn’t have a system for adding listings without an author, though, so, adding listings without the user attached isn’t covered.
