Submit button not functioning

What happened when integrating the forms? IE did you get a green check-mark next to your API key, and were you able to select a list? If not I’d suggest trying a fresh API key (you can change it within MailChimp)

Make sure a list is selected or the form won’t work. If that is not the issue, we’d like to look into this more.

First please let us know the exact behavior of the form when attempting to submit. IE nothing happens, or any error messages.

Also, if you don’t mind, could you link to page that has this form for us. We’ll try it out and see if we can identify the issue.

Everything went as it should when integrating the forms. I did get a green check-mark plus I chose a list.

I have since tried everything possible, and now it doesn’t even pop up on my site. I do see the plug-in on the back end of my posts/pages but as far as popping up on my Home page, it doesn’t even pop up now. I have also tried different browsers and still nothing.

When I first created it, it did show up on the Home page but when I pressed the Submit button, nothing happens — and there wasn’t any message.

So now I have another problem: not only does the Submit button not work, the pop-up is not showing up on my site. I would appreciate any help you can give me.

You could be not seeing the form because of the success cookie the browser stores after signing up.

I would suggest try opening the webpage on a private window or incognito mode.

Since this also might be happening because of a conflict, we may present you with conflict isolation steps in the next reply.

Also, have you switched to something else?

Hello there,

When we were testing you site we saw the form changing to another form which was not from our plugin so we thought you might have used another plugin. Did you?

Also we think this might be happening because of a conflict in between Optin cat and your currently active theme or other active plugins. We need to isolate and find out what is causing the conflict in order to solve it.

To search for conflicts, please follow these steps.

1. First please deactivate all plugins except Optin Cat and see if the issue persists.
2. If the issue is resolved, reactivate your plugins one by one to see if the issue returns.
3. If no conflict is found among your plugins, try reverting to a default WP theme like ‘Twenty Sixteen’, or ‘Twenty Seventeen’, and see if the issue is resolved.

If you find a conflict with a plugin or theme, please tell to us the name if the conflicting software and also try to contact the author of the software to see if they can fix it.

The plugin we are using IS from Optin Cat (it just started popping up after not working for awhile). Just wondering why you thought otherwise e.g. not rcognizable? However I would like to be able to link the popup to a new Welcome email form. Can you direct me as to how to do this?

Actually I made a new button and the Submit button is not functioning again. The pop up just hangs there after pressing submit.
